Charles G. “Chip” McClure serves as Founder and Managing Partner of Michigan Capital Advisors and board member for Fusion Coolant Systems, Havis, LightGuide, and Ventech. Mr. McClure is Chairman of the Board of 3D Systems (NYSE: DDD). He currently sits on the Boards of DTE Energy (NYSE: DTE), Penske Corporation, and Crane Company (NYSE: CR). He is an Ex-Officio member of the Executive Committee of the Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce and a past Chair of the Chamber. Additionally, McClure is a member of the Board of Trustees of Henry Ford Health Systems, the Board of Directors of Invest Detroit, and a member of the Detroit Regional Partnership. 

 

Chip brings more than 35 years of senior management experience in the transportation industry. He previously served as Chairman of the Board, CEO, and president of Meritor, CEO, president, and member of the Board of Federal Mogul, and president, CEO, and member of the Board of Detroit Diesel. Chip also held various management positions with Johnson Controls.

McClure began his career serving as an officer on a U.S. Navy destroyer. Chip holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Cornell University and a M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.
