Carsten J. Reinhardt serves as a member of the Advisory Board of Michigan Capital Advisors. Carsten has more than 25 years of experience in automotive and commercial vehicle industries and currently works as an Independent Senior Advisor. From 2012 until 2016, Mr. Reinhardt served as CEO of Voith Turbo, a provider of specialized powertrain technologies. Prior to that, Mr. Reinhardt was COO of Meritor, Inc. from 2008 through 2011 and President of Meritor’s Commercial Vehicle Division from 2006 through 2008.

Before joining Meritor, Carsten served as CEO of Detroit Diesel Corporation from 2003 through 2006, and VP of Operations for Western Star Trucks from 2001 through 2003, following 8 years in a variety of technical management positions at Freightliner Trucks. Mr. Reinhardt started his career as a management trainee at Daimler AG in Stuttgart, Germany.

Carsten holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Esslingen Technical University in Germany and a master of science degree in automobile engineering from the University of Hertfordshire, UK.
